Mental health care should be appropriate and evidence based with the patient the absolute focus and delivered in the right place, at the right time and where capacity to pay has no impact.

We are a group of mentally ill people, their friends, family, partners and allies who are based around melbourne australia who look to support each other to find affordable accessible patient centred informed consent based mental health treatment and to advocate for this treatment to become more widely available.

We recognise that race, socio-economic status, sex, gender expression and disability affect access to mental health services for some people. We are commited to challenging the mental health system to support all people in need of mental health services.

We support evidence based medicine and services a key component of treatment and care for mental ill people, including those modalities not necessarily part of main-stream approaches but which, nonetheless are supported by evidence.
