sacred_harlot and naked_wrat, went out to lunch together. It was great to have both my partners in the same room at the same time as my parents. :-) We chatted about a variety of things, including Dad accidentally getting an MA from LaTrobe University without actually earning it (although my father is doing his Masters). So LaTrobe has made a mistake, which would be less of a problem if LaTrobe wasn't refusing to take it back, and instead asking Dad to tell them who else has been issued with an MA incorrectly! Hmm, shouldn't it be LaTrobe doing an audit of MAs that have been issued? :-P In any event, if LaTrobe doesn't fix this soon, MAs from LaTrobe are going to become worthless as the general public won't be able to tell whether they were actually earned or not.
In any event, Mum and Dad gave me some yummy food as a late birthday present (in addition to the very generous birthday gift they've already given me!): some more of Mum's great tomato relish, some dates, some lime and chili soy crisps, and last but most definitely not least, one of Mum's great fruitcakes. :-)
The next surprise was thatsacred_harlot stayed the night with naked_wrat and myself last night! Whilst we were out at lunch, naked_wrat asked sacred_harlot if she wanted to come back to our place for a bit, and sacred_harlot accepted. But once here, sacred_harlot started making comments that implied she would be staying here the night, e.g. "i'll try some of the chutney later on, after dinner". i thought she was just having me on; but after quite a bit of prodding, it turned out that she and naked_wrat had conspired to surprise me with an unexpected sacred_harlot sleepover! Needless to say, i was most chuffed by this surprise. :-) So we had a lovely evening, with naked_wrat cooking us all a yummy stiry-fry for dinner, and, of course, all three of us ending up in bed together for some Hot Bi Babe action. :-) Thank you sacred_harlot and naked_wrat - i love you both so very much! *passionate hugs and kisses*
Today,naked_wrat finally finished her thesis, yay! i'm so proud of her! It's been a very difficult road for her, as she tried to work on her thesis through an emotionally abusive relationship with her former partner, breaking up with that former partner, being on the receiving end of threats to her physical well-being from transphobic ex-friends who misrepresented what had happened in her previous relationship, moving interstate to Melbourne to live with a new partner, Centrelink hassling her non-stop to find full-time work (despite them being fully aware that she was trying to write a thesis) and, just as she was getting close to finishing it, being hit hard by some mysterious illness! naked_wrat: well done gorgeous!
Finally, i recently came across "the spacefem.com color quiz", and was heartened by the result:
