Taser was my first thought, but apparently HR frowns on that.

Make up a mock "bounced" message that makes it look like the screenshot in Word is stopping the mail getting through?

Heh, yes, i've been tempted to do the same thing to these people who keep sending me HTML emails, even when they've specifically been asked to do otherwise . . . .
