naked_wrat, sacred_harlot and i have already switched over to chatting with this system rather than with Yahoo!: Yahoo! kept playing up on us, i suspect because, as i understand it, Yahoo! keeps modifying how their system works. Closed network protocols are a pain.
Reading about Jabber has, in fact, given me an idea for My First Haskell Project: a Jabber client. That should keep me occupied for a while. :-)
