Wonderful news

sacred_harlot and i have gotten back together! Yay!
sacred_harlot did a lot of thinking over the five or so weeks that we were separated1; and she eventually decided that, no matter what she tried, she could not live happily without being in an intimate relationship with someone she loves so very deeply. So she decided that the only available option was to renegotiate the parts of the relationship that were possible to be negotiated, and with me explore and re-craft a relationship that we can both live and be happy with - a suggestion i was very amenable to. :-) i feel our initial discussions about how to re-craft the relationship have been extremely positive: we've successfully come to agreements on a number of basic issues that had been having a negative impact on not only the relationship, but on both of us as individuals. Things feel a lot more positive and promising.
So on Friday night we went out to dinner at an Indian restaurant nearsacred_harlot's place, and had a lovely evening! i savoured every morsel of food and every bit of sacred_harlot's presence. :-)

Interestingly, the period of separation felt longer to both of us - more like three months - even though when we were in each other's physical presence for the first time since the separation, it felt we hadn't really ever been apart.
