  1. cocks:
Mmm, yummy hard cocks, so lovely to look at and take into one's mouth! So lovely to have as one pushes one's cock inside someone else, and fills them up! And full of creamy goodness. :-)
  2. divine madness:
Sometimes things that we consider to be 'mad' only seem so because we don't understand the bigger picture, don't understand how existence works. Divine madness can bring us at least a small part of that understanding, through experiencing it ourselves, and considering the possible meanings of the divine madness that may be experienced by others around us.
  3. fucking:
i love fucking. It's my escape, my grounding, my joy, my animality, my humanity, my divinity, my connection to my partners and to the multiverse. It's a central part of my spiritual beliefs.
  4. knotting:
'Knotting' as in "tying ropes in such a way as to fasten one thing to another". Yes, it has bondage applications as well - i've got a copy of Jay Wiseman's Erotic Bondage, and i'm trying to find time to read it - but that's not my main motivation for learning it. It's more like a puzzle with very practical applications. :-)
  5. mathematics:
Mathematics and i have had an interesting relationship over the years. Up until my middle years of High School, i found the math work that i was set to be very easy, and i cruised along, even helping people from higher year levels to do their math work. Then, in year 9, i had a maths teacher i really didn't gel with: he was a fundamentalist Christian who wore t-shirts that said things like "JC/DC: Jesus Christ / Demon Crusher" and "Hell is for wimps", and made dubious claims about how Marxists were on the verge of running the entire continent of Africa. (Eventually he was kicked out of the school for telling his students to simply climb over the fence to the pool when the pool was shut. :-/ Or so i was led to believe.) For the first time in my life, i failed a maths test. Erk! i spent the next couple of years trying to recover from that, with the help of some great teachers (one of whom i clashed with severely at first, but who i subsequently came to respect and get on okay with). But by the time i got to uni, i was so sick of mathematics that when i was told i'd need to do more maths in order to do Comp. Sci., i balked. No more maths for me! i therefore chose to not do Comp. Sci. simply because i didn't want to have to do any more maths. i'd had enough.

In recent times, however, i've returned to my original love of mathematics, and found studying it to be very fulfilling. My main area of interests are set theory, point-set topology, and analysis. i actually find it relaxing to learn about, and ponder on, these things. i recently read a quote attributed to Charles Schultz:
"Why do musicians compose symphonies and poets write poems? They do it because life wouldn't have any meaning for them if they didn't. That's why I draw cartoons. It's my life."

i'm increasingly starting to feel that way about mathematics.
  6. panentheism:
My Oxford Dictionary of World Religions says that:
In panentheistic views, the world exists in God (all reality is part of the being of God), but God is not exhausted by the world; the divine is both transcendent and immanent.

    i'm a panentheist.
  7. qabalah:
As i wrote in an earlier LJ entry, Qabalah is a spiritual 'map' that really resonates with me. i became interested in it via Qabalah-based interpretations of tarot; but it's become something i'm interested in more generally. i'm only a neophyte in this area, but i'm very much looking forward to the journey. :-)
  8. safe sex:
Be considerate of yourself and others: always practice safe sex!
  9. sexual liberation:
i founded Pleasure Activism Australia. Need i say more? :-)
  10. transgender:
i'm transgendered. i'm female, and i'm male. No, i'm not doing some Butlerian gender-as-performance thing: this is who i am. i know my gender, and i'm comfortable with it. If you're not comfortable with my gender, then i ask: Why does it concern you? How does my gender hurt you? Is your own sense of gender so fragile that you can only protect it by trying to turn people's attention to other people's gender identity?

i'm transgendered. i'm female, and i'm male. Deal with it.

Hey there Gorgeous Partner :-*

Just wanted to leave you a comment on your lj post, It's soooo big!!!!

I am fascinated by the interests that were plucked out as your list is rather big also - but these particular ones I would say are extremely reflective of you, even though you are into all of your interests otherwise they wouldn't be there! However out of all of them I would say that for me these would be core - what do you think?

Love ya lots and lots Gorgeous, and am extremely proud to be a partner of yours, *tls*. Much love, and passionate kisses Gorgeous,

Sacred Harlot xxx.

*nod* Yes, i think this list does basically cover my core interests, although it did miss the IT angle. Which is probably a sign. :-)

i don't think it chooses interests at random - i think the algorithm is involves choosing every xth interest from your list of interests. So for me it was (i think) every 13th interest.
