i redesigned the PAA Web site today, using CSS - "Cascading Style Sheets" - to do the formatting. It means that if i want to change the look of the site, i just need to change one file, instead of every page on the site. i'm pretty pleased with the result. There are some excellent examples of what one can achieve with CSS at the CSS Zen Garden.

i was glad to hear that the 2005 Melbourne Pride March went well yesterday. (i didn't attend because the march would have wiped me out.) PAA was represented by my partners, S. and

naked_wrat, who marched with the Pride or Prejudice contingent with placards bearing the PAA logo and the slogans "Take Pride in Sexual Pleasure!" and "To love is human - to orgasm, Divine!"¹. Apparently the slogans were well received, which was somewhat of a relief; i was afraid that the queer communities had become dominated by the "Let's just not mention sex and hope they [i.e. the heterosexual 'mainstream'] will accept us" approach.

Finally, i just have to comment on the story "Man stabbed after finding out he danced with cross-dresser", which i came across via the transgendernews Yahoo! group. In particular, i wanted to say "!!!" to the following quote:
