So i've finally left Pleasure Activism Australia. i'll continue to maintain the Web site, but i'll no longer be co-moderating or participating in the fora.

This represents a continuation of my feelings about sexuality-based communities as described here and here. Basically, i'm not (a) extroverted enough; (b) arty enough; and (c) kinky enough to have anything useful to offer.

Interestingly, prior to leaving, i used to dream of being in high school virtually every night. Since i've left the group, i've hardly dreamt of references to high school, let alone being in high school. Which says to me that i've been very much feeling that i've been in a situation where appearances and belonging to the 'right' group(s) are more important than anything else, but that since i left PAA, that's no longer the case.

So a weight has been lifted from my shoulders, such that i can devote more time and energy to my studies of magick and programming. And that's a good thing. :-)

coffee_sprite wanted to let you know that he thinks you should send time on both magick and programming as you clearly need the first for the second.

*chuckle* Indeed. :-) A while back, in a philosophical forum, i had a disagreement with someone who claimed that programming is not an art . . . . i've been meaning to post an essay on this issue in my LJ for a while now. Maybe now i'll finally get around to it. :-)

Programming is often not art IMHO, it should be but I seen to much code you could not call art.

*laugh* True . . . . there's the art of a Turner, and then there's the "art" of a Pollock. :-)
