sacred_harlot has just posted a wonderful account of our recent play sessions in the pleasureact community LJ. i had the opportunity to read over it before she posted it, and i found it very moving.

My partners are both amazing people: i'm very grateful to have them both in my life. naked_wrat is very much an optimist; she seems to be able to find silver linings very easily, and those linings aren't simply twee platitudes. She's so gorgeous - i love her eyes, her smile, the expressions on her face, especially the joyous expressions when we're cuddling or kissing and expressing our love to each other. She's so intelligent - i can have a discussion with her on a wide variety of topics, and she often makes thoughtful and thought-provoking comments and questions. She's so sexual - she's a proud slut, and enjoys pleasuring herself and her partners (which i feel she does most excellently :-) ). She's so caring and compassionate and empathetic - these are things i place a very high value on, and as i look around and see many people displaying what i call EDD - Empathy Deficit Disorder - naked_wrat's consideration and empathy for others is a wonderful thing to behold.

sacred_harlot shares many of these traits too. She's such a strong person: her life has meant that she's had to be. But where what she's been through would make many people very bitter and negative, sacred_harlot has come through the experience as a person dedicated to caring for others and speaking out against prejudice and injustice. She's not someone to do things by halves: she's someone who commits herself to something, and sticks with it as much as she can, more than many people would be able to stand. She is fundamentally a giving person, which is why she has done so much volunteer and activist work, and provided support to so many people (even though they have often not returned such support in kind, as she describes in "The Sorry Tale of an Excommunicated Lesbian"). And she is never motivated by malice; she always acts with good intent.

i'm very honoured to have such wonderful people in my life - and especially honoured to have them as partners. i love both sacred_harlot and naked_wrat so very much, and my life is so much more joyous with them in it.

Wow. The depth of your writing, akin to our mutual LJ friends Naiyah and Velitu, leaves me in awe. And apologies for rambling randomly but I'll get to the point - I was wondering if you want to do the mutual-add thing? Naiyah, Velitu and I have common interests, as I hope you and I do.
