One of the people claiming to have written the "Footprints" poem has been engaging in dubious behaviour on Wikipedia, editing the entry in support of her claims, despite being clearly told that doing so contravenes Wikipedia policy in a number of ways (not least of which is the obvious conflict of interest). Charming. :-/

Not that the poem itself is Great Literature or anything [shudder], but I'm not sure, looking at that usertalk page, whether this claimant has the necessary command of language to have written it.

That, along with all many sorts of Unclear On The Concept asshattedness going on. When I try to figure out WTF such folks are thinking, the only theory that doesn't make my brain explode is, "they're not."
