Pain

i've been in a great deal of pain today, particularly around my sacrum and coccyx. i've also been feeling very weak - i've only been able to move around rather slowly. All of which put me very much in the appropriate frame of mind for writing a comment in the [livejournal.com profile] malingerers community LJ in response to an entry by someone else who has fibro.

i'd really like to know why some days, like today, are so much worse than others. Is it the weather? Is it something i ate? Is it a combination of those, or something else altogether? It's difficult to tell: there are so many variables involved, and i know that the foods i've eaten in the last 24 hours are foods that i've eaten on a number of occasions without experiencing such noticeable side effects. i guess i really need to start keeping a diary of the weather, my food intake, and my 'wellbeing' level for each day, to see if i can find a pattern.

Ouchness.

Sometimes contracting a virus will aggravate rheumatic stuff, could that be it?

And it's been cold at night.

i don't think it's a virus . . . . if it is, it's a particularly sneaky one. :-)

It has been cold at night; that may indeed have something to do with it, although i radiate a lot of body heat and so typically find it easier to sleep on nights that are cold than on nights that are mild or warm.
